A Control Panel is a tool that is used to handle the content of an Internet hosting account. Including, but is not limited to, files, e-mail messages, databases, stats and various operations executed with them. The CP offers a web-based interface to handle these things and everything else relevant to the hosting service via different sections where you can access functions through buttons and/or menus. The less difficult to use a CP is, the easier it shall be for you to handle your online presence altogether. In the common case, the Control Panel is the hosting account’s back office, while an independent billing account is used to control payments and domain name registrations - if the company provides this particular service. Trouble tickets could be managed through the billing account or via an independent system.
