FTP Manager
What's an FTP Manager? How much effective is it when it comes to maintaining a site?
You can use different FTP accounts to administer your website content if you’ve got a number of sites in one and the same hosting account. You can provide different individuals with access only to given folders, for example – web designers or IT persons from the company, and be sure that they won’t be able to connect to any other files or anything else in the hosting account, since the FTP accounts have limited access. Plus, you can set up and administer a number of different sites simultaneously using a web design application like Dreamweaver or FrontPage (since these apps use FTP to make a connection to the web server) and publish your website files both when you create them and when you edit them. An important part of doing these things is the possibility to set up and manage your FTP accounts quickly and seamlessly.

FTP Manager in Shared Hosting
If you open a
shared hosting account with our company, you will be able to access the quite powerful FTP Manager, that’s included in our custom-built Hepsia website hosting Control Panel. The tool offers a number of different options, besides the possibility to create or remove FTP accounts. You will be able to view the access path for each account and by clicking on it, you can change it so that the account in question will access a separate directory. Downloadable auto-config files are available too, so you will not need to set up anything manually – you can just download the specific file for Core FTP, FileZilla or CyberDuck and run it on your personal computer. To make the management easier, the FTP Manager will allow you to view all the accounts that you have set up in alphabetical order, on the basis of either the access path or the username.
